The Marine Nationale is not moving either. Since it's not a big battle, I will attack first to gain some time.
Sphinx attacks HMS Truculent # 1 with depth charge.
Rolls: (4d6) - 1
Yprès & Engageant attacks HMS # 2 with two big depth charge runs.
Rolls: (6d6) - 1
Rolls: (6d6) - 1

HMS Truculent # 2 is only crippled and # 1 is fine thanks to the run silent SA. _________________

HMS #2 fires at Engageant
Rolls: (2d6)
HMS #1 fires at Sphinx
Rolls: (3d6)
Also we have a problem. Only one of your ships depth charge attacks is at 6 (Roberts, or Engageant I believe), the other attacks at 5 (Butler or Ypres).
I was going to mention this with my last post, as I noticed the last turn you used 6 dice as well, but I forgot. Sorry. Based on the way you laid out your rolls, listing the Ypres first, the Ypres (5 die) rolled an extra die and that is the attack that hit the sub. I don't want to be a snit about it and if you can think of a way to revist the rolls that is more fair than just rerolling your first roll with 5die6, please let me know. _________________ Fear Hope! |

Looks like all your subs are fine and that I have only the Yprès remaining. Subs (especially Truculent) are really hard to sink by destroyers.
The best way to get them I think is to attack them with another sub.
Initiative for turn 9

How about if I roll a die Rolls: (1d6) and whatever that number is we remove that die from the original Ypres roll, with a result of 1 being the leftmost die. _________________ Fear Hope! |

O.K. taking the fifth die out would still result in 3 hits so that sub is crippled. How does that sound?
Init for round 9

Are you still out there? If you aren't moving let me know and we can roll for attacks.
