Perfect! Thanks Okie. BTW, I added many of these smilies just for you.
Okie
I had started and rolled in the wrong place, so if you want I can roll again.
I also just setup the game map and do the move's useing it, so all you do is give the coordinate's for your move's and with what unit's. Seem to make a game go faster then waiting for someone to do a map every so often. Doe's that sound copasetic? Okie

I predict the Butlers win.
Captain Morevo
Considering the Butlers are Slow, don't have Sub Hunter, and all the Sub Commander has to do is roll a single 6? (provided I don't pop smoke and evade the attack) I don't count on it. But, I shall command my vessels to the best that I can... plus it doesn't appear I actually have to defend anything.

Look's like you setup first then I move.
Okie
Captain Morevo, where are you going to set up? You will be along the A row somewhere. Once we get setup it shouldn't take long for us to play this out.
Captain Morevo
Assuming numbers Go "Up" the map like on a Data Plot, I deploy both vessels in A4.
Captain Morevo
Frak me... read E/W wrong... K4
Okie
What we usually do is row A is west and K is east, and numbered from top to bottom. So you would be in A4 and I'll start in G6 and move to F6. over to you!
Captain Morevo
| Quote: | | RN deploys to the east, KM to the west. |
I deploy on the RIGHT side of the map, so, no, I'm in K4.
And the numbers go from the Bottom(1)->Up read the "Rules Clarification" thread.

Okie
Ok, I'm in F3 after my move over to you.

by-the-by, I'm not giving you a free shot, if you want to end this, youre gonna have to come to me, on my terms, I have no reason to come in close unless I am guaranteed an attack, so we can either dance around each other until the trumpet sounds, or we can finish this.

I think you are hunting me not the other way around. I could just slip off the map to get a tactical win.
Captain Morevo
Those are not the conditions of the Scenario, to be victorious you need to sink one of my destroyers... did you just not read the first post?
Captain Morevo
Furthermore, I already rolled and 11, so its your Move first.
Okie
Sub to E2
I don't intend to just run up and get killed , so evedently we are at a stalemate.
You'll notice that I said tactical win, as your order's are to hunt me down, my escaping would just be a tie but Then I would have sunk one of your merchant ship's and got away with it and would get an "at-a-boy" when I got home, you on the other hand would likely be charged with direlection of duty.
Captain Morevo
For what? the Admiralty would know exactly what I would know of the situation you fool, they know I can't just jump you, and they know that the statistics state that you have a categorical advantage in weaponry, youre being a coward, and I'm being strategic, because I know better than to just give you a free shot. I figure it goes something like this...
If I rush towards you "Yay" you get a free shot, but I still get to pop smoke, thus giving me a second chance, However If I lose initiative I basically give you a SECOND free shot with me having to pop smoke again, until I win initative AND not roll slow, I can't really get a chance at attack.
vs.
We play this straight, I come at you, you come at me, I drop charges, and if youre still alive, you fire your torpedoes.
So actually, youre being a snarky Kk, and I'm being a Smart LtCdr.
